Additional Information

  • You can fly into multiple airports within driving distance of our accommodation in Sansepolcro:

    Perugia - 45 Miles

    Florence - 70 Miles

    Pisa - 120 Miles

For our friends & family in the South West, we recommend looking at flights from Bristol to Pisa. There is slightly more travel time in Italy but having done this journey ourselves, we feel it’s much easier (and cheaper!) than traveling up and having to park in any of the London airports.

  • We used Centauro on our last visit to Tuscany and would happily recommend them to our guests.

We booked via this link rather than direct as it was cheaper: https://www.discovercars.com/

  • GPS Coordinates : Lat. North 43°36’08.1″, Long. Est 12°07’44.1″

Full Address: Farmhouse La Conca, Via dei Sassi Rossi, 101, 52037 Sansepolcro AR, Italy

Finding the villa: When coming off the main road you will see sign posting for La Conca, as you drive through the estate you will first see Villa Cantone on your left, you will keep on travelling up through the estate before seeing the entrance for the Villa Cungi car park.

  • The La Conca Estate spans more that 300 acres, this can be explored on foot or by bike. Take a walk through the olive groves and vineyards or trek through the nature trails across the estate. There is also a lake on the grounds that can be used for fishing or kayaking.

Relax in the indoor spa located at Villa Cantone which includes a 12 person jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym and yoga studio. You can also book yourself a massage to take place in the dedicated treatment room.

Our La Conca hosts offer a range of different experiences including cooking lessons, wine or olive oil tasting, horse riding and so much more. Check out the link below for more information about what’s on offer within the grounds.

    Experiences at La Conca

  • Discover the magic of this ancient land, where love and beauty intertwine like the rolling hills.

Sansepolcro - Our closest town has a historic centre with preserved traditional features. There are markets on a Tuesday from 8am until 12:30pm and Friday evenings from 8pm until midnight.

Supermarket - COOP a well stocked supermarket just a few minutes from the estate

    Pharmacy - Farmacia Galaradi

Pasticceria Chieli - a wonderful cafe in the centre of Sansepolcro

    Fuel - 24hr fuel station

Arezzo - A slow paced city compared to the likes of Florence or Siena, a beautiful place to visit if you want a chilled afternoon out. It also has great train links to other cities so we’d advise using it as a place to park your car and then travel on to Florence.

Florence - If you are after a morning to evening excursion then we’d highly recommend visiting Florence. There is enough to see and do to keep you well occupied for more than just one day but we’d highly recommend starting with a visit to Cafe Gilli for espresso and pastries then checking out Mercato Centrale which is full of local food and drink offerings. Taking the city by foot to see beautiful architecture including the Duomo, stroll along the Arno river and cross over to the other side using the Ponte Vecchio bridge (good luck keeping the girls out of the many jewellers on the way). Take in panoramic views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Special mention goes to the affogato from Vivoli Gelato.

Siena - At the heart of this medieval, fan shaped city is Piazza del Campo, you will find lots of nice restaurants and shops in this area. Siena also has a Duomo which is not quite as spectacular as what Florence has to offer but still worth checking out if you’re in the city.

  • Check in from 4pm on the 13th of June

Check out by 10am - our family will still have Villa Cantone on Thursday 20th so anyone with later flights will be able to join us there.

Parking - guests will have key fobs to allow access to the parking area close by to the villa. There is plenty of space for all cars.

More details to follow soon…
